Welcome to Campulse

Campulse is built to help lecturers, course representatives, and students learn, communicate, and collaborate in a respectful academic environment.

These Community Guidelines explain the standards we expect from everyone using Campulse. By participating in any course community, you agree to follow these guidelines.

1. Respect Everyone

Treat all members of the community with professionalism and respect.

Always:

* Be polite and constructive.
* Respect different opinions.
* Encourage healthy academic discussion.
* Communicate professionally.

Do not:

* Harass or bully others.
* Threaten or intimidate users.
* Use abusive, hateful, or discriminatory language.
* Personally attack other members.

2. Keep Discussions Academic

Campulse is designed for educational collaboration.

Use course communities for:

* Asking questions
* Answering classmates
* Sharing study materials
* Discussing lectures
* Course announcements
* Academic events
* Group collaboration

Avoid using course communities for unrelated personal conversations or non-academic content unless specifically permitted by the lecturer or course representative.

3. No Spam

Do not post:

* Repeated messages
* Advertisements
* Promotional links
* Referral codes
* Chain messages
* Misleading information
* Unsolicited marketing

Content considered spam may be removed without notice.

4. Respect Intellectual Property

Only upload content you have the right to share.

Do not:

* Upload copyrighted textbooks without permission.
* Share paid course materials unlawfully.
* Upload pirated software or media.
* Claim another person’s work as your own.

Always give proper credit where appropriate.

5. Protect Privacy

Respect the privacy of others.

Do not share another person’s:

* Phone number
* Email address
* Student ID
* Home address
* Examination details
* Personal documents
* Private conversations

without their permission.

6. No Impersonation

Do not pretend to be:

* Another student
* A lecturer
* A course representative
* A university official
* Campulse staff
* Any other individual or organization

Your profile should accurately represent who you are.

7. Report Inappropriate Content

Help us maintain a safe community.

Report content that includes:

* Harassment
* Hate speech
* Spam
* Fraud
* Academic misconduct
* Copyright violations
* Illegal activity
* False impersonation

Do not misuse the reporting system to harass other users.

8. Academic Integrity

Campulse supports learning—not cheating.

Do not use Campulse to:

* Sell examination answers.
* Share leaked examination papers.
* Facilitate plagiarism.
* Complete assignments dishonestly for others.
* Promote academic misconduct.

Always follow your institution’s academic integrity policies.

9. Upload Appropriate Content

Ensure uploaded content is appropriate for an educational environment.

Content must not include:

* Pornographic material
* Graphic violence
* Hate speech
* Illegal content
* Malware
* Dangerous instructions
* Fraudulent material

10. Keep Information Accurate

Before posting announcements, resources, or important information:

* Verify facts.
* Avoid spreading rumours.
* Correct mistakes when discovered.

If you are unsure, clearly indicate that the information is unconfirmed.

11. Use Course Roles Responsibly

Lecturers and Course Representatives have additional responsibilities.

They should:

* Share accurate course information.
* Keep announcements relevant.
* Respect students.
* Maintain professional communication.
* Avoid misuse of administrative privileges.

Abuse of elevated permissions may result in removal of those privileges.

12. Keep Files Safe

Do not upload files containing:

* Viruses
* Malware
* Harmful scripts
* Unauthorized software
* Files intended to disrupt the platform

13. Respect Platform Security

Do not attempt to:

* Hack Campulse.
* Bypass security measures.
* Access accounts without authorization.
* Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities.
* Interfere with platform operations.

If you discover a security vulnerability, report it responsibly to Campulse Support.

14. Enforcement

If these Community Guidelines are violated, Campulse may take action including:

* Removing content.
* Issuing warnings.
* Restricting posting privileges.
* Suspending accounts.
* Permanently banning accounts.
* Reporting illegal activity to appropriate authorities where required by law.

Enforcement decisions are made at Campulse’s discretion based on the severity and frequency of violations.

15. Appeals

If you believe enforcement action was taken in error, you may contact Campulse Support to request a review.

Submitting an appeal does not guarantee that the original decision will be changed.

16. Help Build a Positive Community

Every member contributes to the quality of the Campulse experience.

We encourage you to:

* Ask thoughtful questions.
* Share helpful resources.
* Support classmates.
* Participate respectfully.
* Celebrate learning.
* Help create an inclusive academic environment.

17. Changes to These Guidelines

We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect improvements to the platform, legal requirements, or community needs.

When significant changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date and may notify users through the Services.
